LONDON – “The Rolling Stones” are getting another memorial. The successful British author Nick Hornby is currently writing scripts for a biopic series about the band. The series was commissioned by the American channel “FX”. This was reported by the “Hollywood Reporter”. There are to be two seasons. The production company “Left Bank”, which also made the “Netflix” series “The Crown”, is on board. So far, there is no title for the project, but it is already clear that the series will initially cover the period from the founding of the Stones to 1972.
Nick Hornby wrote “High Fidelity,” among others.
