Wolfgang Van Halen has had enough. The magazine “US Weekly” has now published an interview that they allegedly did with Eddie Van Halen’s ex-wife Valerie Vertinelli and Wolfgang’s mother. All lies and lies, the musician said on “Twitter”. He wrote there literally: “Fox ‘Us Weekly’. The only thing that is true in this printed toilet paper is that we all loved my father. This is not a new interview. My mother has not spoken to them. (…) I know many of you will say that I should just ignore this. I will not stand by and let people spread lies and turn my family tragedy into entertainment.”
Eddie Van Halen died of cancer almost a month ago (October 6) at the age of 65. Shortly after, there was a rumor that his son Wolfgang would replace him in the band.
